CONSTITUTION
1. NAME
The Club shall be called 'FOOTBALL CLUB OF RIVERSIDE' and shall be affiliated to the London Football Association and a member of Enfield Football Alliance. The name and logo of the Club shall not be used by any official or player for any other reason than the Church.
2. AIM
Its aim is to provide good quality association football for its member, to positively contribute to the development of the local community by means of Football in the Community Scheme and social and recreational pursuits as may be deemed desirable by the Committee.
3. CLUB OFFICIALS
The Club shall consist of a Chairman, Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, Club Manager
and Coach.
4. THE COMMITTEE
a. The Club shall be managed by the Committee consisting of the above officials.
b. The Committee shall meet once a month and the proceedings at such meetings shall be duly recorded in a minute book.
c. Player’s Sub-Committee consisting of three playing members may be invited to meetings but will not take part in ballot.
5. POWERS OF THE COMMITTEE
a. The property and /or asset of the Club shall be vested in the Committee.
b. The Committee shall have the power to suspend or expel any member deemed guilty of conduct unbecoming of an official or player thus tarnishing the good image of the Club.
c. The Committee shall have the power to fill such vacancies as may arise in its Constitution between Annual General Meetings.
d. The Committee shall have the power to declare a seat vacant should an official absent him/herself from three consecutive meetings without any reasonable explanation.
6. MEMBERSHIP
a. Membership shall consist of eighteen playing members ( subject to change).
b. Candidates for playing membership shall be subject to agreed suitability after organised trials and/or training sessions.
c. A register of the members of the Club shall be kept by the Club Secretary.
d. Annual Membership Subscriptions must be paid before a player can be registered.
e. A playing member wishing to resign shall give written notice to this effect to the Club Secretary, such notice to be accompanied by payment of all Club dues at that date.
f. An official wishing to resign shall give notice to this effect in writing to the Club Secretary, such notice to be accompanied by payment of all Club dues at that date.
7. SUBSCRIPTIONS
a. Annual Subscriptions shall be £20 payable before 30th May each year
Match subscription to the Club shall be £5.00 per game
(subscription fees are non-refundable ).
8. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ( AGM )
a. The AGM shall be held not later than 30th June each year. The Club Secretary shall give fourteen days notice of such meetings to all members.
b. The Club Treasurer's Financial Statement and Club Secretary's Report shall be received by the meeting which will also elect three playing members to make up the Sub-Committee.
9. SPECIAL MEETINGS
a. A special meeting may be convened by the Committee when deemed desirable upon the request of three officials or four playing members.
b. The Club Secretary shall give seven days notice to all members of such meetings to the Committee and the players Sub-Committee shall attend.
10. FINANCE
a. The Committee shall keep proper books of Accounts which may be subject to audit yearly.
b. Official receipt for all monies received shall be signed by the Club Treasurer.
c. The Club Treasurer shall be the only authorised party to sign cheques.
11. ALTERATION TO THE RULES
a. No alteration to these Rules shall be made expect at the AGM or at a special meeting convened for that purpose and only if supported by three officials at such meetings.
b. Notice of proposed alteration to these Rules must be given in writing to the Club Secretary by the 30th April each year, and, to notify members at the next meeting.
12. ATTENDANCE
If a player is unable to attend a training session but would like to be considered for match/Tournament selection then he must contact a Club official, before the training session begins, giving reasonable reasons for his absence.
13. LATENESS
a. where there is a need for the team to travel, players who have not appeared within thirty minutes/ one hour of the stated meeting time will be left behind.
b. If a player suspects he will be late, please contact a Club official.
14. SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS
a. subscriptions will be paid before the start of a match or training session to a Club official.
b. On match days players that have not been selected need not pay subscriptions
c. Players who come on as a substitute after twenty-five minutes of play need pay half the stated subscription.
15. OTHER PAYMENT
a. Any deadline dates given for the payment of any monies must be strictly adhere to.
Players who fail to meet deadlines will be disciplined accordingly.
16. FINES
a. In the event of the Club being fined, by the Football Association/League, for incidents involving the misconduct of a registered player, payment of such fines
( both individual and Club costs ) will be made by the registered player, to whom the fine relates.
Please Note: If a fine is not paid in full within fourteen days of receipt. It will be doubled and/or the Club may be suspended and have to appear before the relevant Committee.
b. Any fines that are not paid will result in the player, to whom the fine relates, being
suspended from playing for the Club until payment is made.

The Club has no intention to fine any of its playing members
17. OTHER BUSINESS
Any other matters not governed by the foregoing Rules shall be dealt with by the Committee, the decision of which shall be final and binding.
Please Note : The spirit of sportsmanship is expected of all officials and playing members at all times both on and off the pitch.
